121. Attribution Biases and the Structure of Attitudes

Description

This Psychology Factsheet reviews the three main kinds of attribution bias and provides basic information on the structure of attitudes. Each type of bias is described and explained and some key research is outlined, together with the main explanation(s) available for the bias. Where there is evidence for reversibility this is also considered. Exam hints, based on recent examiner’s reports, are provided throughout.
