This Sociology Factsheet will look at structuralism as a theoretical perspective, exploring its application and strengths and weaknesses. Demonstrate your understanding of what structuralism as a theoretical perspective is, including understanding of both functionalism and Marxism.
Demonstrate your understanding and knowledge of how to apply this theory to sociological topics.
Be confident in incorporating structuralism in exam responses.
