This Psychology Factsheet provides guidance as to how to describe and evaluate the cognitive factors of environmental psychology to satisfy the criteria set out by the exam boards. Words in bold are explained in the glossary and the worksheet provides an opportunity to practice what you have learned with exam-style questions.

The examiner expects you to be able to:
1. Demonstrate that you understand what the cognitive factors involved in environmental psychology are and be able to apply them.
2. Use relevant research to support the points you make.
3. Evaluate the cognitive factors involved in environmental psychology by considering appropriate strengths and limitations and relevant research.
