This Psychology Factsheet provides an overview and critique of cross-cultural perspectives on relationships (CCPR). The Factsheet includes Exam Hints, and the worksheet gives you the opportunity to apply what you have learned to exam-style questions. Words in bold are explained in the glossary and there is a reference list at the end.

The examiner will expect you to be able to:

Demonstrate that you understand cultural differences in terms of how relationships are viewed and conducted.
Demonstrate that you understand the factors influencing attraction, marriage, communication, and rules relating to CCPR.
Describe relevant features of CCPR and associated research.
Evaluate the research on CCPR, considering the strengths and limitations.
