430. The Five Poorest Countries in the World?

Description

This Geo Factsheet is the first of a series of two Factsheets which attempt to identify the five poorest countries in the world by using GNI per capita and HDI and then goes on to consider the possible reasons (environmental, historical, political, socio-economic) for their poverty.

The Second Factsheet (436. The Five Poorest Countries in the World – Will They Ever Climb out of Their Poverty?) evaluates possible solutions including aid and FDI.
