Description

This Sociology Factsheet recognises that Britain’s population is getting older. Life expectancy is increasing and as people live longer there are more elderly people in society. This Factsheet will look at:

• The reasons why there is an ageing population in Britain today.
• The effects of an increasing elderly population on individuals and British society.
