283. Newton's Laws and Circular Motion

Description

This Physics Factsheet aims to address the problem of moving from GCSE to A Level in terms of understanding; removing misconceptions and demonstrating where students go wrong. It shows how Newton’s Laws apply and moves students on to the A Level definition of Newton’s Laws. It looks at “Newton’s Pairs” of forces and shows how a centripetal force is necessary to produce circular motion.
