This Sociology Factsheet will look at how ethnicity shapes identity and will explore the extent to which it is still an important factor of identity formation. The Factsheet includes Exam Hints to help you to use your knowledge to gain maximum marks, while the activities give you the opportunity to apply what you have learned and will help you develop your skills in this area.

• Be confident in incorporating ethnicity in an answer on culture & identity.
