Is the use of nuclear energy our answer to climate change?

This Article describes nuclear energy, its forms, and how it is produced in addition to the trends and distribution of nuclear energy usage and its potential for further deployment. It highlights the benefits of nuclear energy and whether these are unevenly distributed and considers the socioeconomic costs and environmental issues of nuclear energy, including risks and losses. It answers to what extent the option of nuclear energy as an alternative source of energy is for developed countries only. Case studies include India and China.
