Highlights the benefits of nuclear energy and whether these are unevenly distributed. Considers the socioeconomic costs and environmental issues of nuclear energy, including risks and losses. Answers to what extent the option of nuclear energy as an alternative source of energy is for developed countries only. Case studies include India and China.
