Description

This is an interactive product which is organised into 4 sections:

1. How to Draw Graphs.
• This takes pupils through the steps needed to draw an accurate graph from a set of data.
• It explains what we mean by variables and introduces the terms x axis and y axis.
• The plotting tool makes plotting points extremely simple.
• This section deliberately takes pupils slightly beyond the requirements of the National Curriculum by introducing two key terms - dependent and independent variable. We believe that this is the best approach. Pupils need to understand which variable is being manipulated.

2. More Practice Plotting Graphs.
• This gives pupils two sets of data to plot using our plotting tool.

3. More Practice Interpreting Graphs
• This section provides two more sets of data enabling pupils to practice plotting the graphs and then interpreting the data.

4. We are Ready for Really Quite Horrible Graphs!
• This last section does what it says on the tin.
• These two questions are challenging (but achievable). Give this section to your most able pupils!
