264. The Nervous System

Description

This Psychology Factsheet outlines the structure and function of the nervous system. It includes Exam Hints and the worksheet gives you the opportunity to apply what you have learned to exam style questions. Words in bold are explained in the glossary.

The examiner will expect you to be able to:

• Demonstrate an understanding of the structure of the nervous system.
• Identify different parts of the nervous system.
• Show an understanding of the function of the nervous system.
• Explain how the body responds during fight or flight.
