308. Practical: Decay of Charge on a Capacitor

Description

All the specifications place emphasis on practical skills – some examine it in course assessment, some as a practical exam and some as a practical exam paper. Some specifications have prescribed practicals.

This Physics Factsheet explains capacitance and then uses a prescribed experiment, “Decay of charge on a capacitor”, as a vehicle to discuss practical techniques relevant to all practical work.
