Description

This Physics Factsheet:
• Explains how forces have a turning effect (called a moment) and work through the calculations involved.
• Examines what happens when a body is acted upon by many forces, but does not move - this is called being in equilibrium. In this Factsheet, the examples considered will mainly involve the use of moments; cases involving more complicated resolving will be dealt with later.
