38. Breeding: The Dairy Cow

Description

There are about 12 million cattle in the UK, which are raised either for milk or beef. Breeding cows or any other domestic animal or crop involves a series of decisions. The first question is;Why bother? In terms of cows, the aim of breeding is to increase profitability and this involves many factors explained within the Factsheet.
