Description

This Media Studies Factsheet:
• Examines the under-representation of women in broadcast media, both on screen and in the production process.
• Outlines the stereotypical representations of women still evident in broadcast media.
• Illustrates changing representations using a case study of Gravity (dir. A. Cuarón, 2013).
