Description

This Geography Factsheet examines the heatwave that struck the UK during the summer of 2018. The weather was quite extraordinary, but perhaps it was a glimpse of what life may be like in the UK in years to come. This Factsheet examines the causes of the event, as well as the impacts and responses. The impacts examined cover social, economic and environmental aspects.
