27. The Young Modulus

Description

This Physics Factsheet covers the quantity known as ‘the Young modulus' which is used when describing how materials behave when they are stretched by a force. In order to understand the Young modulus we must first consider the quantities of stress and strain, which are used in defining the Young modulus of a material.
