95. How Identity is Shaped by Social Class, Disability, Sexuality and Age

Description

This Sociology Factsheet will look at identity and factors that influence our identity. Social class has always been an important factor in shaping our identity e.g. where we live, the job we have, the school we attend etc. However, in recent years this has changed: class has become less important and other factors such as disability, sexuality and age are important factors in shaping our identity.
