12. Eyewitness Testimony

Description

This Psychology Factsheet summarises memory research into eyewitness testimony. It covers the topics of reconstructive memory (by Bartlett) and research into the effect of language on eyewitness testimony (e.g., role of leading questions by Loftus). It also covers the effect of emotion on recall and ways of improving eyewitness testimony.
