401. Community Groups in Placemaking and Regeneration

Description

This Geography Factsheet emphasises the importance and benefits of community participation as part of the democratic process. It then explores some of the barriers to effective participation. Using Arnsteins ladders as theoretical underpinning it evaluates the role of community involvement via three contrasting case studies.
