This Article researches the trends and distribution of elderly population in cities and how this has changed over time. Explains the key indicators which can be used to study and establish the experiences, issues and needs of the elderly population in a city. Explores how cities are trying to reach the needs of the elderly. Case studies include Singapore, Toyama, Hume City, and Manchester.
