Description

How are the Sustainable Development Goals different from the Millennium Development Goals?

This Article defines and compares the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Discusses the post-2015 development agenda. Includes a timeline of the events leading up to the SDGs. Explores the results of the MDGs (including India as a case study). Evaluates the success and impact of the MDGs and outlines what we’ve learned since. Contains segments on tax collection and evaluating the future progress of the SDGs.
